OUR HISTORY

Wrexham Motoring Supplies is a third generation family owned business. Founded by Arthur Jones in 1968, developed by Arthur's daughter Gaynor and son-in-law Alun and now managed by Arthur's grandson Jonathan (Jon). The WMS family has grown and so has our business from it's original premises at Pen Y Bryn in Wrexham, to our present car parts and accessories store and on-site fitting bay on Smithfield Road.

A PASSION FOR ADVICE AND SERVICE

Whilst the family has developed the one thing that has not changed is our passion for giving good advice and providing exceptional service. Our customers have always enjoyed coming to WMS to get the parts and accessories they need both private and light commercial vehicles. We stock thousands of items for all makes of vehicles, and if it's not in stock we'll normally get it for you next day.

Alun, Jon and our team of auto experts boast more than 200 years of experience in the motor trade between them. What you'll notice when you come to WMS is that we all enjoy serving customers, be that on the phone, at the counter out in our in the vans delivering parts to garages and workshops. One thing you are guaranteed if you choose WMS is friendly, experienced and helpful advice all given with a smile.

Alun has grown with our business since his Father in law founded it over 50 years ago. He is the man that keeps friendly service at the top of our agenda. Alun loves vintage cars and chatting to customers over a cuppa.

Jon joined the family firm in the early 2000s as an employee but being a family business it meant he has spent many of his childhood years around the business - since then he's developed an encyclopaedic knowledge of the auto aftermarket.

Born on a working farm in Denbigh North Wales with both her parents being working dogs. Nala our Welsh collie/sheepdog mix brightens up the shop and is loved by all and takes her role in the shop, greeting customers then rounding them.
